SciCord Template API v03 Released

Cary, NC – July 30th, 2018 – SciCord is proud to announce its release of Template API v03. With the Template API v03 version, we’ve taken steps to improve the functionality, compliance, and ease-of-use of the product. This release represents our continued commitment to improve the experiences of those who use SciCord technologies.

In addition to several bug fixes this new version of Template API brings enhancements in the following areas:

Core Release Support Functionalities

Template API v03 takes advantage of many features introduced by the recent SciCord ELN Hydrogen release (SciCord R1.3.2).

Action Mapping enhancements

New Action Mappings have been added, which can be used to listen to electronic signature events and to extract system information, such as active users list or configuration entries (access is restricted on selected items).

Data Extraction enhancements

Many improvements around the Data Extraction configuration enhance the user-friendliness for Template Developers. For instance, it is now possible to apply the same extraction logic to multiple tables, even without dedicated range names. Also, there is now native support for exporting cells’ raw values and setting the results replicates.

Template Developer enhancements

Template Developers can now create Samples & Work Requests through configuration, similar to the standard results & document attributes data extraction.

Bug fixes

Support for custom sequences that can be used to generate unique numbers across Documents. This also includes further optimization of SciChrom resource usage.

As is the case for all GA releases Template API v03 has a complete supporting documentation package and is suitable for GxP environments. Template API v03 is backward compatible with all previous Template API releases, but it requires SciCord Release 1.3.2 or higher.
