SciCord Template API v02_05

SciCord Template API v02_05 and first version of SciCord Hub released

SciCord is proud to announce its new version of Template API v02_05 as well as the first release of SciCord Hub, which allows SciCord to safely interact with any on-premise service or application (e.g. Empower Chromatography server).

With the Template API v02_05 version, we’ve taken steps to improve the functionality, compliance, and ease-of-use of the product. This release represents our continued commitment to improve the experiences of those who use SciCord technologies.

In addition to several bug fixes this new version of Template API brings enhancements in the following areas:

Core Release Support Functionalities

Allow Sample Inventory Amounts as Decimals

Sample Inventory Amounts now allow values that are decimals instead of only whole numbers, allowing for greater flexibility within Sample Inventory.

Sample Attributes are Updatable

Sample Attributes contain a configuration which allows them to either be updatable or not. Sample Types can contain either mandatory or optional attributes and, after creation, may be updated if the “IS_UPDATABLE” flag is set to ‘true’. If set to ‘false’, then after creation the Sample Attribute will not be updatable.

Action Mappings Enhancements

Action Mappings may now be added during event processing. Additional action mappings have been added to increase template functionality, while others have been improved for performance.

Chromatography interface

SciChrom now supports Empower Chromatography using SciCord Hub. The performance of SciChrom has been improved by optimizing the loading process. The optimized algorithm reduces the time of recording sequences to documents.

SciCord Hub

SciCord created SciCord Hub as a gateway to on-premise hosted services. As part of this first release the Empower 3 interface is supported using the Empower toolkit. Thanks to SciCord Hub, any SciCord Client can extract data from your Empower server without the need of an Empower Client installed on the same machine.

Template API v02_05 is backward compatible with all previous Template API releases, but it requires SciCord Release 1.2.5 or higher.
